Coastal Island Apparel Return Policy

At Coastal Island Apparel, your satisfaction is our priority. We take pride in creating quality apparel and lifestyle products inspired by the coastal way of life. If your purchase isn't exactly what you expected, we're happy to help with a return or exchange.

30-Day Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of the date your order is delivered.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • Unwashed
  • In their original condition
  • Free from stains, odors, pet hair, or damage
  • Returned with all original tags and packaging

Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Exchanges

Need a different size or color?

We're happy to exchange eligible items within 30 days, subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we'll issue a refund or store credit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are considered final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Clearance or Final Sale merchandise
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or custom-made products
  • Opened or used candles, home fragrances, or home collection items
  • Items purchased during special promotional events marked "Final Sale"

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

We'll work quickly to replace the item or issue a refund at no additional cost.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, you'll receive an email confirming whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrived damaged
  • The item is defective
  • We shipped the incorrect product

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Coastal Island Apparel is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
